Ingredients
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon light corn syrup
- 2 oz. good quality milk chocolate, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup crushed nuts
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Combine milk, butter, heavy cream, and corn syrup in saucepan and bring to a gentle boil over medium heat. When mixture begins to bubble add chocolate and 1 teaspoon cocoa powder. Whisk vigorously.
Reduce heat to low. Cook for 8-10 minutes whisking continuously until a dense fudgy batter forms.
Pour mixture into a bowl and let cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Scoop mixture by the teaspoonful, shape into balls and roll in the ½ cup crushed nuts or the ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder.
