Medjool Dates stuffed with Asiago Cheese

Ingredients

  1. 20 Medjool dates
  2. 20 pieces of Asiago cheese, cut into 2- 2 ½” pieces
  3. Olive oil
  4. Sea salt

  1. Preheat oven to 425°.
  2. Use a paring knife to pit the dates.
  3. Stuff cheese into the date and gently squeeze to seal. Place stuffed dates on a foil lined baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
  4. Bake for 5-7 minutes, until the tops are crispy and the cheese has melted. Let cool a few minutes. Serve whole or halved, depending on the size of your dates. Yields: 20-40 bite-sized pieces.
